RACGP Mental health review

This invited article provides a brief overview of current diagnosis techniques for ADHD, and describes our research behind a computer-based assessment battery which accurately detects ADHD in children and adolescents.  Known as “IntegNeuro” or “WebNeuro”, this touch-screen, computer-based test battery provides an accurate and objective method to assist in the diagnosis of ADHD, as well as identifying which children or adolescents with ADHD will benefit most from stimulant and non-stimulant medications.  The goal for the future is to implement this test battery in clinical practice, as we move towards greater accuracy in diagnosis and personalized treatment approaches.
