Brain Dynamics Center researcher Ainslie Hatch won the PhD publication prize for 2009 by University of Sydney Psychology.

 

In Anorexia Nervosa, she showed for the first time that alterations in cognition – but not in the emotional brain -  improve with treatment.

The findings were for teenage girls at the first experience of Anorexia, and reassessed after treatment.   

Published in European Eating Disorders Review,  International Journal of Eating Disorders and Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience.
