This position is an opportunity to run the essential operations of a research-industry partnership. The partnership spans a global network of research and health care organizations.
Your role would have two main components:
| 1 | Coordinating the day to day operations of the research network: BRAINnet (www.BRAINnet.net). This role coordinates an existing database, and the network of research members it supports. This network operates via a web interface. It is the hub for communicating with members around the world, processing their proposals, distributing data in spreadsheet format, and ensuring that outcomes are collected and reported on. Data are housed in the ‘BRAINnet’ section of an industrial strength database. They include clinical information, cognitive assessments, brain function and genotyping data. |
| 2 | Coordinating the operations for new research projects: Discovery This role coordinating the processes by which new data are collected. Researchers around the world use the cognitive and brain function assessments to collect data in a range of projects, including for different clinical groups. All data come in to the ‘Discovery’ section of the industrial strength database. This role is responsible for administration of the agreements with each Discovery customer, checking the data quality control, and collating the data to send to them in spreadsheet format. |
